[News] VM Consulting to Provide Lecture to KOTRA & the Co-organizing Body of Overseas 75 trade shows
Sharing know-how on how to enhance performances in overseas Korean pavilions I
VM Consulting has announced that it will conduct a special lecture on "Reviving K-Brands through Trade Show Marketing" at the workshop for overseas trade shows co-organizing bodies participating in KOTRA's group exhibitions. The workshop is scheduled for September 14th at the Andaz Hotel in Gangnam, Seoul.
KOTRA collaborates with relevant industry associations yearly to organize overseas trade show booths, including events like the Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna in Italy. Typically, the roles of co-organizing bodies have been focused on administrative tasks such as recruiting participating companies and selecting booth installation and travel agencies. However, with the increasing demand from the government to enhance the export performance of Korean companies participating in overseas trade shows, there has been a growing consensus that the roles and responsibilities of co-organizing bodies need to be redefined.
In response, David Lee, the CEO of VM Consulting, is scheduled to deliver a lecture to the co-organizing bodies of 75 overseas trade shows coordinated by KOTRA. During the lecture, he will discuss methods to improve the performance of participating companies.
CEO David Lee stated, "Co-organizing bodies should play the role of trade show marketing coaches for participating companies," adding, "I will share insights on supporting Korean companies in brand marketing, moving beyond the tasks of simply recruiting companies and selecting booth installation providers."
(Note: KOTRA stands for the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency.)
