Development of MICE-Specialized Package Products to Secure Global Competitiveness I
VM Consulting announced on the 4th that it has embarked on a consulting project for the Korea Tourism Organization's Korea Unique Venue commercialization initiative. The goal of this project is to enhance the capabilities of Korea Unique Venues, develop experiential programs for MICE participants, and commercialize these offerings.
This project aims to elevate the competitiveness of Korea's Unique Venues in the global MICE market by uncovering their unique content, responding to the worldwide trend of increasing MICE events combined with region-specific content.
In particular, among the 52 currently selected Korea Unique Venues, 20 venues with high commercialization potential will be separately identified. Their MICE competitiveness will be assessed, and detailed programs, including costs, required time, and product names, will be planned to develop MICE-specialized package products for each venue.
VM Consulting CEO Lee Hyung-joo, who will oversee the project, stated, “Through this project, we will support Korea Unique Venues in becoming more competitive tourism resources in the global market. We will maximize the value of Korea Unique Venues through collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization.”
Furthermore, this project will be conducted in collaboration with Modern Han, a specialized cultural content company. Modern Han CEO Cho In-seon stated, “Through this project, we aim to meet the demand for unique and special offline spaces, such as historical sites and art facilities, and maximize the utilization and satisfaction of Korea Unique Venues.”
