VM Consulting (CEO David Lee), a specialist in exhibition and venue marketing, and Gwanggyojae (CEO Kim Hyang-eun), a corporate meeting space operator, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 4th to jointly develop healing-oriented business event spaces tailored for IT professionals and to collaborate on venue marketing initiatives.

Both companies share a common recognition of the problem: while thousands of startups and IT companies are concentrated in Pangyo Techno Valley and Gwanggyo Business Town, spaces that allow teams to recharge and foster creative collaboration after meetings remain critically lacking. The core vision of this agreement is to bring the Silicon Valley model — where global tech giants such as Google and Apple invest heavily in in-house wellness and relaxation spaces — to Korea's domestic IT clusters.

Gwanggyojae currently operates two flagship locations, 'Pangyo-jae' and 'Gwanggyo-jae,' offering a full-package work environment consisting of a main conference room for seven, three private single-person immersive workspaces, a lounge, and a canteen. The setup is designed so that work and rest can be completed within a single space, without the need for external catering or trips to nearby cafes — directly addressing demand for one-day workshops and strategy meetings. With CEO Kim Hyang-eun bringing over 15 years of global exhibition marketing experience from Samsung and Hanwha Group, the spaces have been designed from the ground up with a strong emphasis on practical usability for working professionals.

Under the MOU, the two companies plan to collaborate across multiple areas, including venue marketing strategy, experience program development targeting IT companies, business event planning, space branding, and global expansion strategy.

David Lee, CEO of VM Consulting, stated, "A space is no longer just a place — it is a platform that generates experience and business outcomes. Through our partnership with Gwanggyojae, we will present a new venue model tailored to the IT industry."

Kim Hyang-eun, CEO of Gwanggyojae, added, "There is a real need for spaces that sustain both the focus and vitality of the people working in them. Together with VM Consulting, we will build spaces capable of supporting the entire flow of a workday — from a seven-person conference room to a private immersive workspace, a lounge, and a canteen."
