Seoul, Republic of Korea – On November 24, David Lee, CEO of VM Consulting, delivered a keynote lecture titled “CES Marketing Strategy: How to Achieve the Results You Want”. The lecture was hosted by the Gyeongbuk Economic Promotion Agency (GEPA) to support regional companies preparing for their participation in CES, the world’s largest consumer electronics exhibition.
During the lecture, Lee emphasized that while many companies invest significant time and resources into their CES exhibition booths, true success comes not from booth design alone, but from establishing a clear business strategy tied to meaningful market outcomes.
“CES is not only a showcase of technologies, but a global marketplace where business models compete,” said Lee. “Companies must define what outcome they want to achieve before designing the booth. The booth is not the strategy. It is the execution tool.”
The keynote covered practical strategies, including:
Aligning booth messaging with the company’s business model and go-to-market plan
Preparing structured meeting scenarios to convert booth visitors into business leads
Building partnership and buyer engagement plans beyond the exhibition floor
Applying follow-up processes to transform exhibition contacts into long-term deals
Lee also presented real case studies from VM Consulting’s advisory experience supporting Korean companies at CES, ADIPEC, IFA, GITEX, and other major global exhibitions.
